Having worked with designers before, I was a little nervous that my home would end up being the designer's inspiration and not my own. My fears were completely unfounded. Tonya Hopkins intently listened to my wishes, thoughts and ideas, never cutting me off or making me feel uncomfortable. While I tend to be rather conservative in my tastes (painting my walls creamy beige/taupe is walking on the wild side for me). Tonya worked with me, never pushy, but gently encouraging me to get out of my "beige box".
Tonya offered many options and samples for me to peruse, yet she never overwhelmed me with questions, or decisions. The end result is that our older home is tastefully decorated, furnished and just beautiful - thank you, Tonya!
I would highly recommend Tonya Hopkins -she is not only a top notch decorator but her honesty as well as her integrity make her a top notch person and a pleasure to work with as well.

Working with Tonya Hopkins has been nothing but a completely positive experience. Though people often have stories of bad or lax designers, Tonya provided a refreshing and alternate view into that world. We were very dubious about having a designer plan our home (why can't we do it, right?) but we can say that hiring Tonya saved us so much time, effort, money, not to mention arguments! Unlike a lot of other designers, Tonya really listened to our wants, needs and somewhat funky desires in interior design. Tonya carefully planned and worked with both of us to make sure that there was equal input, and we both loved the outcome as much as the other. While we were stressing about minor things, Tonya's calm kept us grounded and focused.
Tonya was tremendous throughout the entire experience - she kept us informed and involved throughout. Through the emotional and often tumultuous experience of a remodel, Tonya Hopkins was there to provide sound advice throughout. We cannot express in any greater terms the satisfaction we have in working with her and continue to this day to recommend her without reservation. Should you choose to work with Tonya Hopkins, we personally have no reservations in giving her high marks across the board for professionalism, perfection, and integrity. We take great comfort in knowing that any future design need of ours will not only be met, but exceeded, by Tonya Hopkins.
